Introduction
For many years it was always clad in a coat of colourful creeper, the old part of the school still stands today, sedate and elegant, presenting to passers by and architectural antidote to the hotch potch of 20th century development all around. It dates from 1911. This was to be our third visit but a first for the Middlesex and Surrey team.

Team 1
Vigil 1- Main staircase and landing.
At the beginning Simon could not switch the corridor lights off although he has done this on a daily basis. Val and Marina then hear the click of a light switch click and a whining sound to follow. Val called out but nothing is heard. All hear a knock at the top stair corridor. Simon whistled Val asked spirit to copy and a whistle was heard back by Kerry and Val. Jim has strong smell of perfume, a light fragrance and then Marina smells it to. Jim walks the corridor and calls out and hears a sound, he calls out again and all hear a tap. Simon calls out for tap to be louder Marina and Kerry both see two a light flashes (maybe from another team). Val calls out and Kerry and Val both hear the sound of clothes ruffling. Kerry hears the sound of an old clock ticking. Jim feels someone is at the end of the corridor. All feel the temperature drop and Jim asks for spirit to knock there is no response. All hear footsteps, Jim calls out and all members hear a sound, Jim asks for a louder sound no response. Val has the name of Poppy and says it's a nickname. Jim has a massive headache. Jim and Val hear keys jangling. Val can see needles but can't say if there sewing or medical ones.
Vigil 2- I T Room
We tried the Ouija board in here Val asked if there was a male/female spirit here and twice planchette moved to female. Val asked to spell their name and planchette moved to a number of letters that did not make any sense. Val asked if sprit was playing around with us and the reply was YES Asked for age answer given 31/32 asked for the year answer given 1943. Kerry, Simon and Jim heard a clicking sound from behind Kerry, Jim called out but no response. Nothing else came through on the Ouija so we closed down. Val and Jim both have a dry and sore throat. Jim felt as though someone was trying to talk to him and he felt breathing hard. Val, Simon and Jim feel very hot. Jim says he feels there was a fire and his chest was very tight.
Vigil 3- Rooms 206/207
In room 206 Val feels this is a depressive room Simon standing in left corner feels a cold breeze no explanation. Val asks spirit to stop the clock and in a few seconds it stops ticking, but only to find on investing it that it stops the ticking sound from 20-10 to the minute very time. Val gets sudden headache and the name of Thompson also the name of Alex. Val feels cold on her right ear only. Temperature starts to drop no reading of how much. (No temp gun). Simon calls out no response. Jim asks spirit has heart problem no response. Looking at trigger object (ruler) it seems to have moved slightly.
Room 207.
Kerry doesn't like the area where it is designed like an aircraft cabin all of us feel ok in here, Jim asks spirit to move the chains around the cabin seats area, no movement Val calls out no response. Simon asks spirit to copy him as he whistled. All members hear a whistle. Jim calls out again no response. Kerry is feeling very cold.
Vigil 4 - Library and passage.
Val feels cold down her neck we decide to hold glass divination in here Jim, asks spirit to move the glass Jim feels someone next to Val. Val has toothache as though she has been punched in jaw. A noise is heard from behind Jim asks for it to make another noise, no response. Jim asks spirit to turn screens on the equipment but nothing. Val has the name of Pamela Davis in her mind. Val feels cold breeze come through between Marina and Kerry. We feel there is more than one spirit in this room. Val keeps on looking into the glass as she feels something is inside. Jim hears as though a chair is dragging across the floor, on playback of Val's Dictaphone a loud dragging sound is heard. Although we ask for any spirit to come forward there is no movement of the glass. We all tried table tipping no response. Val feels very sick, and there is slight movement of table. We all moved into the small corridor and Kerry and Marina feel as though someone is at the far end. Jim investigates no-one there. We all feel as though someone is watching from far end of the book area.
Vigil 5 - Performance Hall
We held an Ouija board séance in here Jim was calling out to spirit and a small sound was heard, there was no communication with spirit. Val played a tune on the piano but nothing heard when asked to copy. We tried table tipping all quiet. It was quite cold in here. We felt there was someone listening to us but no occurrences.
Vigil 6 - Art Passage.
Again all felt ok in this passage although very quiet we again felt someone was with us watching. Simon, Jim and Val took turns in calling out but nothing heard.
At the end of the evening all members held séance in the canteen. We sat in a circle and joined hands but nothing came through.
Team 2
Ken, ( team leader) Gary, Simon P, Clare
Vigil 1 - I T Room
Ken asking out for spirit to move something/ touch one of us, Gary and Ken hear a bang in the corner by the window. Gary asks spirit to clear the writing on the white board. Ken gets the name of Henry possibly a head master. Gary and Clare think they saw someone/something at the door. Ken hears a little knock. Ken knocks and asks for a reply none given. Gary's battery on video camera shows different numbers from 60-88 then going back to 60. Ken heard something move outside the door also he is cold and shivery on his arms although it is warm in here. Ken saw a light move across the wall by the TV and white board. Ken still feeling cold and saw a flash of light on the door, he feels the spirit of a teacher. Gary said he heard movement outside the door. Ken hears a very high pitched sound we all heard a slight crackle when we were talking about the white board. Ken wrote 3456 on the board and the number 666 to see if it gets wiped out. There was other writing on the board. Gary and Ken feel a draught by the window but there is no draughts coming through. Simon, Gary and Ken hear a scuff on the floor.
Vigil 2- Rooms 206/207
Room 206 No EMF reading although the door leading to the roof had a reading of 4 at the base. Cold breeze felt by Gary. Gary tried to get a coin moved- no movement. Tape on Gary's cam corder running out (new tape and batteries) Gary stood coin up and then it toppled over. Gary feels a cold breeze on the back of his neck. Gary hears a noise from room 207
Room 207
Ken feels cold. Gary sets up coin and it toppled over, reset coin and after a few minutes it rolled and fell over. Gary's camcorder switched off although showing 13 minutes of battery remaining when he switched it back on. Knocking sound heard by Gary and Ken.
Vigil 3 - Main staircase
Clare feels very frightened here and all hear a noise from room 204 the sound of a door shutting. All hear a tapping sound in the corridor. A cold spot on the stairs at the end of the corridor. Ken feels someone watching us. Gary feels someone is going to run along the corridor. We all heard footsteps along the corridor, and a tapping sound by room 201/209. The corridor feels very cold.
Vigil 4 -Performance Hall
EMF reading 2 when Ken walked passes the stage. Ken sees a flash at the back of hall. Ken calls out no response, Clare calls out no response. Ken, Clare and Gary feel very relaxed in here and calm. Moved up into the balcony looking over the hall. Simon and Gary hear a tapping sound below looking toward the tables and chairs. All hear music like a bass.
Vigil 5 - Art Passage.
Very dark and very quiet in here. Ken asks spirit to rattle a door but there is no response. He asks again for a sound again no response. Gary, Clare and Simon hear a bang in the corridor when they moved down the art passage way.
Vigil 6 - Library and Passage
Gary felt fine this time walking into the library as when he was doing baseline tests earlier he could not go further than the door. Ken, Clare and Simon feeling ok. Gary hears two taps from the reception area. Temperature averaging around 21.5. Ken has the feeling someone is watching us from the office area. Clare feels there is someone at the far end by the books. Simon and Gary feel fine. Ken sees something move in the office from the middle to the right side a shadow shape, and then his throat suddenly goes dry. Ken feels a cold spot amongst the book area. Tapping from the office area heard by all

Vigil 1- Rooms 206/207
EMF 0 Temp 20.6 left wall, 18.2 right wall 12 ceiling, 2 window walls 15.8
Room 206
Everyone feels calm and easy in this room, the clock stopped ticking for a few seconds maybe battery is going. Steen calls out nothing is heard. We attempt table tipping no occurrence. Louise is more drawn to the door that leads into room 207.
Room 207
Steen sees light anomalies on his camera,, we attempt glass divination, bowl moved but very slowly, it is colder in here 16.6 Steen and Laura can hear a little girl high pitch voice Louise and Laura hear a tap sound come from room 206. All hear a tap from the flight deck area. We could not find a glass and Laura said use a cup instead which we did. Steen calls out and asks if spirits are in the room with us the cup moves and then we confirmed question and it moved again. Q are there more than 2 spirits here A yes Q is there a female present A yes Q did you die here A yes Q are you unhappy here A yes. Louise and Laura heard as if someone got of the leather chair which Steen said he had heard as well. Louise can see an image of a lady by the office door with a bonnet on her head. Laura, Steen and Louise see light flashes and changing of the room light dim/lighter. Laura and Steen hear taps by the entrance door. The whole team feels as though there are spirits all around them
Vigil 2 - Main Staircase and corridor
We can hear very loud footsteps as if a spirit is walking around the top floor. All the team witnessed this. The noise starts to fade as if getting more distant. Tape in the video camera dies. Loud bang comes from near the I T Room sounds like a door being closed and someone running. Steen calls out the footsteps we heard earlier come closer. Throughout the vigil all the team hear doors opening and closing. We went to the end of the corridor near rooms 202/203 Steen called out. One of the doors had glass in it and it sounded like it was being tapped from the other side. We then opened the door to room 203 which Serge refused to go in as he did not like the feeling. The room had an odd feeling which was felt by all team members. We called out in this room but there was no response.
Vigil 3 - I T Room
Laura feels as if this room was a previously a bedroom. Laura feels as if someone slept here.
The room feels quiet and peaceful but very odd shape and layout.
Stein feels as if someone is looking at him through the glass as someone sits at the first computer table.
Steen also hears noises coming from the little store room next door like tapping.
Louise thinks the room is a very dull room and an odd layout also.
Serge feels normal in here and doesn't pick up on anything.
Louise does not like the corridor outside.
Stein can feel movement from the corridor outside.
Laura and Stein swap where they are sitting so she is now at the first computer table. Laura did not like sitting there and felt the same as Steen did.
After some time sitting there Laura felt uncomfortable and moved seats.
Serge swaps seats with Laura and feels normal.
Vigil 4 - Art Corridor
Steen turns off the lights and gets a shock the light switch is soaking wet from a drip in the ceiling.
Louise and Laura went to have a look at the light switch and heard a click we both jumped and ran down the corridor. Louise and Laura stood by a table in one of the art rooms where there was a large sheet of black paper on a table which fell to the floor. All the team went into one of the rooms and did a Ouija board which we picked up nothing on.
In the corridor Steen called out but there was no response.
Vigil 4- Library
On the entrance to the library the EMF reading was 10 above no explanation.
In the Library we sat round one of the tables and did glass deviation.
The team picked up on a fire that happened involving children one boy in particular who seemed to be playing with us while we were calling out.
Serge gets a pain in his chest a feeling of tightness which begins to make him feel uncomfortable Louise asks for this to be taken off him but it gets worst so we close down the circle and move out of the room.
Vigil 6 - Performance Hall
The whole team sat around a table in the middle of the room we began glass divination. We believed we had two sprits present one was a male and the other female. Steen picks up on the name Timothy Willis who he thought was 57 years old, and that he was here before the college was built.
The female sprit that was present was aged 13 years old and died of an illness. We think that she went to school here and that she had a link with the other male sprit. When Louise asked if he use to communicate with this girl when he had died the response was yes. The glass kept moving towards Laura. The team thinks the female sprit was standing between Louise and Steen and the male sprit standing between Laura and Serge that's where the glass moved when we asked where they were standing.

Vigil 1 Rooms 206/207
I started in room 207 I felt alright in here but was drawn to the door that led into room 206. I felt as though there was a man standing in between the two classrooms a tall man in a suit with his arms crossed just watching us and wondering what we were doing there. He also had his legs crossed and a grin on his face; he was dressed all in black.
In room 207 I could still sense the same man standing in the doorway. I kept on looking at the office in the other room. I could see a lot of shadows behind the glass and picked up on a little girl staring out with a sad look on her face.
Vigil 2 Main corridor and staircase
I could hear very loud footsteps walking around the top floor, I could also hear doors opening and closing by themselves. On investigating nothing unusual was there no other occurrences on this vigil
Vigil 3 I T Room
This was a small room full of equipment I felt quite calm and comfortable in here and I experienced nothing unusual.
Vigil 4 The Arts corridor
I dreaded this vigil as I know how uneasy I felt when investigating it before. I felt as though I was being watched and followed by a man. We all went into another classroom of the corridor and a black sheet of paper fell off of one of the tables by itself. I was really scared.
Vigil 5 The Library
While on this vigil I could see a raging fire across the floor of the library with people (children) crawling on the floor The EMF was reading over 10 on the entrance to the library no explanation why it should.
Vigil 6 The Performance Hall
I felt as though there was a lot of movement in here, people all around personally I found that they were all men. I began to feel on edge in here and wanted my back to be pressed against the wall so that no one could walk behind me. Nothing else experienced in this room
I have investigated this site before so tried to keep an open mind, and not to think about what had happened on previous visits. I wanted to give a clear reading of what I experienced on this night only. I enjoyed this investigation and it was nice to meet new members of the Middlesex and Surrey team.
Simon Patterson
1st Vigil I T Room
I felt fine the whole time I was in there and didn't really experience anything apart from hearing a scuff on the floor or maybe something dropped.
2nd Vigil Room 207
Very odd experience, I sat round a table with the team, a coin was placed on its side and when asked for it to move it did move and fell over. Replaced it and a few minutes later it started to roll and fall over. I also had a headache in this room which went when back at the hub. I even heard 2 clocks stop and slow down when asked to do something. This happened a few times.
Room 206
I didn't feel anything strange in this room apart from feeling a lot colder than room 207.
3rd Vigil Main Staircase
Very creepy here I could hear water dripping, but on investigating there was a water pipe leaking into the room. Also heard footsteps in front of us but when all went to follow them it disappeared then came back its as though it was going round in circles.
4th Vigil Performance Hall
Whist in here it was peaceful and felt relaxing I would have easily gone to sleep in here if I was here longer apart from the calmness nothing out of the ordinary.
5th Vigil Art Passage
It was very dark and a bit nervy down here and your eyes easily played tricks on you. For half the vigil I felt as though I had someone standing beside me.
6th Vigil Library and Passage
The library made me feel very nervous about this room. Half way down into the book area it got darker which gave me the impression that if I went down there something/someone would touch you. I was also happy to leave this vigil.
At the end of the evening the whole group held a séance this I found interesting as I have never been in a big group séance before. I didn't experience anything from it.
On my voice recorder vigil 3 I can hear a dog sniffing/breathing
Vigil 4 distorted voice but cannot really hear what it is saying.
Steen Spencer
This is a very 'strange' college with many reports of activity. This is my third visit here, all with different outcomes. I have seen and heard many different unexplained things here through investigations and work.
This was an 'enlightening', yet chilling evening.
Vigil 1 Room 206/207
The clocks in both rooms kept stopping and alternating volumes. I felt as though something was happening but always in the room we were not in. I kept seeing movement around us and burry flashing lights in my eyes. I felt it was not a good presence and thought it best to leave it alone.
Vigil 2 Staircase and corridor
I could hear footsteps and the others heard them to, we all decided to follow them but they stopped. I was drawn to the office at the end of the corridor. Standing outside the door, something knocked on the glass and rattled the door. Again I thought of it as a presence I didn't like.
Vigil 3 IT Room
I felt nothing in here at all it's a shame as I know that there is!!!
Vigil 4 the Art Passage
Apart from hearing a couple of noises and someone there watching me I experienced nothing in this passage.
Vigil 5 the Library
Previously I haven't had any results here, but this time it was a different story. I felt as though there were people all around us. Through glass divination we determined that there was someone with us. When I asked if they had died of illness, my torch fell over by itself. We all had the feeling of fire and when I asked the glass told us yes. Through questioning, the glass told us that the whole family had died there. The atmosphere started to change and I didn't feel at all good. I felt claustrophobic, like being trapped in a hole and all the soil was caving in on me. The glass then told us that we weren't wanted there!!
Vigil 6 The performing arts Hall
I heard noises coming from the stage area. The lighting seemed to get darker and darker, at one point I couldn't see anyone. Through glass divination the name Abigail (with no results) came into my head. I then have the name of Timothy and upon asking the glass moved. I asked the question again. The name of Willis came into my mind so I asked if it was Timothy Willis and the glass moved quite forcefully. It was also confirmed that he was here before the college was built. The age of 57 came into my mind, which again was confirmed. We determined that there were many spirits present and that there was a small girl as well.
Canteen
We all held a séance in here and I was drawn to the entrance, but could be from past experience playing on my mind no other occurrences in here.
Clare Roakes
I arrived at the Middlesex College and met up with other members, although I have been here previously I was wondering what the night would hold in store. We all did baseline tests before the vigils started.
I was in team 2 with Ken Gary and Simon
Vigil 1 I T Room
sat in the corner opposite the entrance door, and felt as though someone was watching me through the window, and I felt a little uneasy, all the team heard a bang, Gary and Ken thought it came from the corner by the window no other experience for me in here
Vigil 2 Rooms 206/207
On this vigil I was using the camcorder Ken Gary and Simon all sat around a table while I started to film Ken called out and suddenly the cam showed the tape had run out although it was a new tape put in prior to the vigil. No explanation for this. I could hear the clock on the wall ticking in the quietness then stop and again start ticking it was eerie.
Vigil 3 the main staircase and corridor
While I was walking around the staircase I had the funny feeling that someone was following me. I heard footsteps walking along the corridor they were very loud but then got quieter as though someone was walking away from me. Nothing else in this area.
Vigil 4 Performance Hall
I sat on a chair with the other team members in the middle of the hall. I called out but had no response to my call. I also felt that a presence was watching me from the balcony above the hall. I felt peaceful and relaxed in here.
Vigil 5 the Art Passage
It was very dark and quite peaceful in this area, all the team heard a bang but I didn't experience anything else in here
Vigil 6 Library and passage
On entering the library at the far end are rows of books and I sensed that someone was watching me from the end of the rows in the corner. Although I didn't pick up much in here I still felt that the whole time someone was watching.
All members held a séance in the canteen but unfortunately nothing came through on the night.
Val Butler
Again this was a well awaited return for me but with a new team and I was excited as well as apprehensive.
Vigil 1 The main staircase and landing
I know this is a college but couldn't help wondering how many pupils had passed up and down these stairs since the early 1900,s. I sat at the middle of the staircase and called out to spirit but heard nothing. I felt a little uneasy as Simon could not switch the downstairs corridor light of only to find I heard the light switch click as though someone was there taking the mickey out of us. I called out and heard the sound of clothes being raffled together. I felt as though someone was walking toward me and again felt uneasy. I could hear footsteps from where I didn't know, and then I heard the sound of keys being rattled as though someone was shaking them around.
Vigil 2 I T Room
In this room I felt very claustrophobic and a strange feeling was felt. I didn't like this room at all. Someone was in here with me and it felt as though they were staring into my face. All the time I was in this room I wanted to leave. I had a very dry and sore throat in here that disappeared when I left. I joined in with a Ouija board séance and came across a female presence whom I thought was just playing around her age was 31-32 and the year was 1943. but that was all the information I was given. Glad to leave this area.
Vigil 3 Room 206/207
Room 206 I felt was a really depressive room; I suddenly had a bad headache over the right side of my head like a migraine. I got the name of Thompson followed by the name of Alex a few minutes later. I was very cold in here, the atmosphere was heavy and I felt a shortness of breath that went as soon as I left the room.
Room 207
I had butterflies in my stomach when I walked toward the area that resembled an aircraft cabin with widows and seats. In my minds eye there was a man sitting in one of the seats telling me to get out. There was an atmosphere in here but not exactly a bad one. I called out but had no response. No other activity in this room.
Vigil4 The Library and small corridor.
On entering the library I felt short of breath and weak in my legs. I walked around and felt quite scared of what I don't know.. I made my way to the small corridor it was dark and I felt an eerie place. In here I thought there was more than one spirit walking around and eyeing me up and down. Back into the main library we all led a séance but nothing came through. The area where the books are on the shelf was strange, someone was at the end and they were looking at me. I had called out several times for spirit to come forward but no occurrences happened.
Vigil 5 Performance Hall
This is a large dark area, I didn't like the large dark wooden doors on the stage it was as though there were many people behind them looking and waiting. I walked around and managed to get the courage to part the heavy curtains that lined the sides, I felt scared and had butterflies in my stomach and had to pull away from here. I went into the back room of the performance hall and played a tune on the piano but stopped as I felt someone was telling me to leave alone. I didn't feel anything else in here just that I was not welcome.
Vigil 6 Art Passage
This is an area where I would not like to be alone in. You could cut the atmosphere in here with a knife. I felt there was a definite presence at the far end of the corridor and walked down to it only to find the presence was were I had first started from. I called out several times and knew that spirit was listening to me but nothing was heard. On leaving this area it felt again that spirit was laughing as if to say "you never saw me did you". And I could feel it following me on the way out.
Finally at 4.30 we all made our way to the Canteen and held a group séance, all holding hands and sitting in a circle. Earlier Ken had a camera locked off in here wired up to a television and DVD recorder back at the hub, and many light anomalies were witnessed by members. But alas nothing came through to us
This had been a great place to investigate although on the night it was quiet for me. Perhaps in a year or two we may have the privilege to return yet again. I do hope so as I feel there is more to come.

Vigil 1, Main Staircase and Landing 21:30- 22:40
Very quiet, I saw what I thought were shadows along the top landing, mostly on the left as you go up the stairs.
Myself and Simon walked along the landing towards rooms 206/207, we both felt cold spots along here, and not sure if we saw a shadow of someone at the end. The rest of the team joined us in this corridor. I then saw something come up to Val, it then looked like shadow, as I asked Val, she jumped and saw the same thing as it passed her.
Vigil 2, IT room 23:00/23:50
In here we formed a circle and used the Ouija Board. I saw the Planchette move to 3 different letters when Val asked the spirit to spell out their first name. It didn't make sense so when Val asked if they were mucking about, I saw the Planchette move to yes. Val asked if the spirit was male or female, this time I saw the Planchette move to yes. When asked her age it moved to 33 and ½. Val also asked what year was she there, I watched as the Planchette moved to the numbers 1943
Vigil 3, 206/207 00:30 / 01:45
We all felt something here, but after a number of tries I saw nothing for sure, although I thought I saw someone sitting on one of the flight chairs.
Vigil 4, Library and Passage 01:50/02:40
In the library I felt a number of cold spots, as we sat down to hold a séance, I along with the others felt that we were being watched, again I saw shadows, and what looked like one of the areas along where the books were, seemed to get lighter, this was also noticed by Kerry.
We tried table tipping, and I saw along with Simon the table move, but only very slightly. I also smelt what I thought was something burning.
I heard the odd noise, but nothing to explain them.
We looked at the passage, I though I saw someone standing at the end of the passage, it looked like a tall slim man in dark clothes.
Vigil 5, Performance Hall 02:50/03:30
It was very quiet here, and I felt again that we were being watched, we tried another séance
Vigil 6, Art Passage 03:40/04:30
I saw what I thought was a shadow, and heard the odd noise, but nothing to suggest it was out of the ordinary.
Séance 04:40/ 05:15
We formed a large circle, during this there were times I became very come cold. I felt a cold draft along my left shoulder down to my arm; this was also felt by Steen. I felt chest pains, and again the feeling of being watched, as well as a female presence.

Vigil 1 IT Room
On entering this room I felt a little uneasy, as I had no equipment there are no readings. We all settled down and I called out if there were any spirits here to show me by moving something or to touch me. I heard a bang by the window in the corner the same as Gary did. I came up with the name of Henry who probably was a master here. I then heard another little knock. I knocked on a table and asked spirit to copy me but got no reply. I moved over to the door and heard something move outside it, I am also beginning to feel quite cold, and on my arms I couldn't see anything outside the door. Then I saw a light by the white board that was on the wall, all of us saw a flash by the door where I was standing. I then wrote on the white board the numbers 3456 to see if anyone was there perhaps they would rub it off. Nothing else experienced on this vigil
Vigil 2 Rooms 206/207
As I went into the room 206 I felt uneasy the EMF reading was 3 and by the door leading onto the roof it went to 4. I sat down at the table and I put a coin on its edge on the table and asked for spirit to move it but nothing happened. The clock on the wall started to slow down and then stop then it started again. After a short while the coin toppled over and I stood it back up again and it started to roll along the table without anyone touching it or the table. No other occurrences.
Room 207.
I felt ok in this room although the clock in here was doing exactly what the one in 206 was doing. No other occurrences happened in here.
Vigil 3 Main Staircase
On climbing up the staircase we all heard a door shutting and it came from the end of the corridor by room 204. I then heard footsteps. Walking along the corridor I felt as though someone was watching us I then heard a tapping sound coming in the corridor by room 201 I also felt very cold by room 204. Nothing else experienced in this vigil
Vigil 4 the Performance Hall
As I walked pass the stage the EMF reading was 2 I also saw a flash of light at the back of the hall. I called out but there was no response. I felt very relaxed in here. I moved upstairs to the balcony overlooking the hall and all of us heard music like a bass. Nothing else happened in this hall.
Vigil 5 the Arts Passage
This area was very dark and quiet. I called out several times but there was no response at all. I asked again to spirit to rattle a door but nothing happened. After a while we all heard a bang but found nothing upon investigation. All was quiet I felt calm along this passageway
Vigil 6 Library and small corridor
The temperature on entering the library was reading 21.5. I heard two taps by the reception area but could not see anything unusual. As I walked down the library I caught a glimpse of something moving in the office again but again I could not see anything. Down by the book shelves I felt a cold spot in between the rows. Then again I heard a tapping sound coming from the reception. No other occurrences on this vigil.
Members were to hold a séance in the canteen while Simon our guide and I took photos and video.
Simon and Serge our night guides gave up their Saturday night to be with us. I would like to say thank you both for all the help you gave to the teams.

Vigil 1
Room 206/207
In room 206 I felt fairly comfortable. It was quite warm and peaceful. When I was in this room I was more drawn to the room behind me for some reason. When I called out I did not get any response. We attempted the glass tipping but got very little activity. We all felt it necessary to move to room 207.
We sat around once table and remained quite for 5minutes then started calling out. There were a few knocks and noises and I felt as if there was a presence in this room with us. I did not very incredibly uncomfortable in this room just a little unsettled at the start of this vigil. The team began glass tipping and picked up on a lot of activity in this room. I felt as if the room light to the corner of the room near 206 there were variations in the natural lighting of the room as it kept going lighter and darker throughout this vigil. I kept hearing the noise of church bells in this room. In this room I felt as if I was more drawn to room 206 so I think the presence was moving away from us depending on which room we was in.
Vigil 2
Main staircase and landing
I did not feel at all comfortable hear. I called out and there where a few tapping noises then the sound of footsteps as if someone was in high heals pacing up and down the corridors, however there was know one else in this part of the vigil. The footsteps were getting louder and louder and I did feel quite scared. We tried to move to where the footsteps where coming from but the noise appeared to move to the other side of the corridor. From this end of the corridor we could here tapping of metal as if there was a workshop in this area and tools were being used. There was a lot of activity in the corridors which made me feel very uneasy
Vigil 3 IT room
This room was fairly warm and when I sat quite for 5 minutes I felt calm and collected. I did feel as if this room was a bedroom or small living area for someone as it did not feel quite right. I felt as if there was definitely a bed or beds in this room.
I sat on a chair over the other side of the room facing the corridor and I feel very on edge hear as if someone was watching me which the whole time I was sitting here I did not want to look outside of the door.
Vigil 4 Art Passage
The art passage from start to finish made me feel nervous through out this whole vigil. I did not feel comfortable at all. We all called out and there was some activity in the form of noise but we were all drawn to one corner of the corridor by the fuse cupboard. We took park in an Ouija board in the room next to the fuse cupboard but no activity in this room. Apart from the noises I heard I did not pick up on any thing I just felt very uncomfortable along this passage.
Vigil 5 Library and passage
I was drawn to this room when we done our base line test. It was a very eary room I felt. I sat down and we all called out. I felt very distorted in this room as if my vision became a bit blurry. I felt as if there were lots of spirits in this room but not in one place, moving all around us. We took part in glass tipping and one spirit came through. I felt as if something awful happened here and we got confirmation of lots of children in this room and that there was a fire. I felt as if it was not an accidental fire which the glass confirmed. I felt very woozy at this point and did not pick on nice presences' in the room with us. It was as if there was looks of sick people in this room struggling it was a horrible feeling, but I felt the presence was playing with us and was of not o nice nature.
Vigil 6 Performance Hall
This room made me feel anxious and on edge. I felt as if there where not lots of spirits in here but a few. We picked up on a male and female in this room. One was here before the college was built and the other used to go to school here but some how they both knew each other but were not related and we could not figure out how they new each other, but the male presence definitely visited the female presence in the room. I think the male presence was very dominating of the female presence and would not always let her come through and communicate with us. The temperature kept fluctuating in this room and from this we could feel where there two spirits were located in the room. Steen picked up on a name in this room which the movement of the glass confirmed. They were moving between the corners of the table and coming very close. A one point I felt extremely cold and I asked 'could you move the glass to where you are standing in the room' and the glass moved very swiftly to me. Louise asked if it wanted to communicate with me and the glass moved again. When we asked a question twice the spirit seemed to get very agitated by this. In the end we could not get a lot of precise answers and were all feeling uncomfortable and on edge. It was a great vigil as we got a lot of activity and all picked up on a lot. We closed the vigil down and left the room. We all left this room very jittery.
Séance- Canteen.
I did not feel or pick up on anything in this area. I felt the calmest here compared to any of the other rooms I had been in.
Overall one of the best investigations I have been to. I was in a great team and we all picked up on a lot of noise, light and movement activities in each of the rooms we were in. This was and exciting place to investigate and would like to go back again.

Having been a local to this area for a few years, I know of this College well but never visited it. On the outside, it doesn't seem a place that could possibly have paranormal activity, however once you are inside the building, the atmosphere slightly changes as you are introduced to a building with Long Corridors that echo as you walk down that lead onto blind corners that you can't see round. It's very easy to get lost... and that's with the lights on!!
We were to investigate six locations, The IT Room, Rooms 206 & 207, Main Staircase and Passageways, the Auditorium, The Art Corridor and the Library.
On the walk round/ Baseline tests, as the group approached the Art Corridor, the EMF meter peaked between 5 and 10 in the middle of the staircase. There were no visible electrical wires or power points. As we entered the Art Corridor, a few members of the group felt as though they were going to cry. I did not feel anything. We also heard three loud bangs in the Art Corridor. A possible reason of these events could be dust or paint particles from one of the pieces of Art that was on display being caught in the breeze produced by someone walking past causing the person(s) behind having the feeling that their eyes were about to cry. As for the bangs, it could possibly be caused by a water pipe that lines the walls. I actually felt at ease in all the locations on the walk round except one... the library. As we entered the Library, which was partly lit, I had the overwhelming emotion of fear hit me. I did not want to go into the library especially amongst the bookcases at the back of the library. It was as though I was anticipating that if I walked in the library, someone or something would jump out at me. It was a very strange feeling especially as throughout the walk around, I felt very much at ease. The only logical reason I can think of that could explain this is that I was unfamiliar with the layout of the Library and as it was very dark down that end, it was the fear of not knowing the layout and getting lost that caused me to feel uneasy.
My Team was team 2 with Ken, Simon, Claire and myself.
The First Vigil for my team was in the IT Room.
A very small room that is full of Computers and electrical wires. I actually felt fine in this room. There is a theory that rooms with a high Electrical Magnetic Field in it, as in the case of this room, could give the sensation that there is a presence there. The only things that were interesting were that one side of the room was colder than the other and this was felt by Ken and me. This could have been caused by a breeze from one of the windows although no breeze found or as the nearest wall was an outside wall, it could be due to the temperature outside getting colder. It was also noticed that the lights in the Library switched on. When questioned later, no one was in the library at that time.
The Vigil 2 was in Rooms 206 & 207.
These are two rooms that are joined together and you only have access to 207 via a door in 206. Over the duration, I felt a cold breeze on my neck three times. I didn't feel afraid, more annoyed as it seems that something was playing a game with me. Ken and I both checked for breeze but one could not be found. One of the most interesting things was that the clocks in both rooms would stop for a few seconds then start again. This happened on a numerous occasions. It is possible that there may have been a fault with the clocks, either with the batteries or the clocks themselves that could cause them to stop for a few seconds.
We also tried a coin test where a coin was place on it ends to see if we could get a spirit to move the coin towards a cup that was on the table. The Coin did roll and fall a few times however its very difficult to tell if it was paranormal or not as we were all sat either next to the table the coin was on or close by and we may have subconsciously knocked the table causing the coin to fall.
Vigil 3 The Main Staircase & Passageways.
The Main staircase leads up to a landing that has two long corridors running from it which are joined at the end by another corridor, making an oblong shape. From the very start, we all heard banging from the left corridor which did sound like it could be the water pipes on the wall however after we started to listen to the pipes, it stopped. The heating was on during the investigation and if it was the water pipes, it would have continued for a long time, not stop once we had noticed it. We did stand for about 5 -10 mins to see if it started again... it didn't. In the right Corridor, it was considerably colder than the left corridor even thought there were a radiator at one end in the right and no radiator in the left corridor. As we stood there, we all heard "footsteps" marching down the corridor. I tried to find the source but every time I thought I was getting close to the source, it would move further down the corridor. I also tried to duplicate the footsteps with my own shoes, but was unsuccessful. I really can not come up with a logical explanation for this. If it was static banging, it could be a non-visible pipe under the floor but as it was moving every time I got closer, it very difficult to explain.
Vigil 4 and we are in the Auditorium.
It was extremely quiet in here with a very relaxing atmosphere. So relaxing that I actually felt as through I could have fallen asleep and not have been disturbed. No apparent activities occurred whilst we were in there. A bit disappointing but that's comes with Investigating the Paranormal, Spirits don't always perform on queue.
Vigil 5 the art passage
It was very quiet there. There was a tapping noise but it was found to be a leaking pipe dripping onto a bench. I felt very safe and fine whilst in this location.
Vigil 6 the library
I wasn't looking forward to it. On entering the Library, I didn't feel the same sensation I did previously. It felt very calm and relaxed. I even managed to walk around the bookcases. Ken stated he felt someone was watching us from inside the office area. As the vigil continued, i suddenly had the sensation I felt the first time I entered the Library on the walk around. I decided to stay and after about 3-4 minutes, the feeling had gone.
Overall, it was an interesting night. The Library was very strange for me and I has made me question if it was something paranormal or if it was just me. A few rooms were disappointing but obviously, paranormal activity isn't going to happen all the time. It would be very interesting to revisit this college again.
